Services

Bonner Enterprises offers short-and long-term contractual services. Please ask us about the other specialized services you might need, that are not listed below. We look forward to exploring ways to help your organization or firm succeed.

  • Proposal Writing ~ including where to find funding, how to write successful corporate, foundation and government grants or produce a business plan;
  • Special Events Planning ~ incorporating sponsorship and recognition programs for donors, increasing organizational visibility, planning engaging/memorable activities for attendees and raising the funds needed;
  • Individual Donor Cultivation ~ creating annual giving programs to appeal to individuals connected to the organization. Assisting Board members and volunteers to maximize their contacts through specific donor cultivation methods, and integrating donor recognition and stewardship activities into ongoing operations.

To keep pace with the changing times in which we now live, it is critical to periodically take the time assess the needs of your clients and/or customers and shape or design new services and products to address their needs. Strategic planning process enables you to renew or restructure your organization or a specific service to meet your goals and to maximize your human and/or capital resources. Program design services are also offered to address the needs of BIPOC youth, families and seniors.

Drawing on Patricia’s years of teaching as an adjunct professor at Tufts University, serving as a conference speaker and hosting workshops throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Bonner Enterprises provides the specialized training staff, Board members and other volunteers need. When you need help in demystifying the fundraising, program design and budgeting processes, Bonner Enterprises offers the following training workshops on these subjects:

Patricia Bonner-DuVal is a community activist who has dedicated her life to opening doors of opportunity for Greater Boston’s vulnerable populations of youth, women, people of color and the elderly. After serving as the director of development at the Boston YWCA in the 1980s, she went on to serve as vice president of development for Boston City Hospital’s Fund for Excellence and then, as vice president of the Environmental Careers Organization in the 1990’s. She launched her business, Bonner Enterprises in 1999. Leading a team of staff and professional consultants, Bonner Enterprises’ team worked with BIPOC businesses, health centers, community-and faith-based organizations through 2020, raising an average of $2 million, or more annually.

Patricia has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lincoln University, and a Master of Education from Harvard University. She taught undergraduate students at Springfield College for 10-years, and graduate students at Tufts University from 2008-2020. Her work is recognized by 16 service awards from the Governor of Massachusetts, State legislators, City of Boston and several non-profit organizations.

Patricia currently serves as the president of the Board of Directors of the Grimes-King Foundation for the Elderly, Inc., and as Trustee of the Josephine Dial Trust. She is married to John Aki DuVal and has three adult daughters.
